This experienced striker, without a club after departing from Leeds United, has agreed to a contract joining the second-tier strugglers until January. Previous Conflict Between Bamford & the Manager The pair had previous conflict prior to Leeds moved up to the Premier League the previous campaign while Sheffield United lost the promotion decider to Sunderland. The manager described Bamford as a "muppet" back when the roles were reversed during the 2018-19 season and Sheffield United secured automatic promotion while Leeds fell short in the playoffs.
