Barcelona Set to Play Historic Match at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday

The club confirmed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in La Liga over two years since relocating so building work could begin.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside under the licence granted. Once fully finished, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.

Stadium Testing

Barça organized a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. Officials stated they are seeking authorization from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht next month in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
